Stage 1 of the Museum of Health is underway!
We are currently completing the restoration of the heritage-listed Medical Superintendent’s House at Baillie Henderson Hospital so our current and future collections can be displayed for everyone to see.
The aim of the proposed Museum of Health is to bring the historical, cultural, and social stories of our museum’s collection to life so that our region’s history of medicine and healthcare can be preserved for future generations.
How you can support the Museum of Health
Your donation will be a legacy that helps support the permanent care, preservation, and display of one of the most unique medical history collections in Australia and assist us in bringing the Museum of Health to life.
Our Vision for the Museum of Health
“It is with great pride and anticipation that we look towards the future of the Museum of Health. The Medical Superintendent’s Residence provides a wonderfully historic ambience and will help house an extraordinary collection of artefacts and narratives commemorating and celebrating the history of health in Toowoomba and the Darling Downs. Smaller or greater your contribution is very valued and welcomed.”
