Museum of Health

HELP US COMMENCE STAGE 2 – Donate Today!

We are currently calling for donations and further funding to help us complete the development plans for the heritage-listed Medical Superintendent’s House at Baillie Henderson Hospital so our current and future collections can be displayed for everyone to see.

The aim of the proposed Museum of Health is to bring the historical, cultural, and social stories of our museum’s collection to life so that our region’s history of medicine and healthcare can be preserved for future generations.

Our Vision for the Museum of Health

“It is with great pride and anticipation that we look towards the future of the Museum of Health. The Medical Superintendent’s Residence provides a wonderfully historic ambience and will help house an extraordinary collection of artefacts and narratives commemorating and celebrating the history of health in Toowoomba and the Darling Downs. Smaller or greater your contribution is very valued and welcomed.”
